It's late and I'm tired, but I will quickly fill you in on our day.
This morning Dan left before I did. He had his prayer breakfast in Grand Rapids.
I was scheduled to work 8:30 to 4:00. I noticed 2/3 of the way through the day that it had been changed to 3:00pm.
Dan had tried to call and text me late in the day to arrange to meet up and go look at a stove and dishwasher. I didn't get it 'til after work. When I did call him, he was leaving Ionia. We met up and drove together to see them. They had been on Craigslist, and were falsely advertised. They didn't even take the time/effort to clean them up. He had told Dan that the dishwasher was only used 1/2 dozen times or less. Yeah, right! You should have seen the inside of it....won't describe it to you, but suffice it to say it was used more than 6 times!
A bit frustrating/annoying and wasteful of our time. We tried to offer less but the guy was set on his price. Said he had another caller interested. Good luck!
Lesson: Try to see pictures before driving more than a mile.....
Progress on the house today:
Dan had set all the tile on the counters except 10 or so tiles. When we got home, he immediately made more thinset and went to work putting the last few in place.

He plopped them in in no time. I kinda thought it would be a long process, leveling, making straight....but it didn't take him long at all and they ended up pretty straight, don't you think?
Then he stuck the 'backsplash' row up.
