What a day. It has been non-stop since we pulled our heads off the pillows this morning. We've done everything from shop for carpet, prime walls, take multiple calls, handle leak issues for Dan's mom first over the phone, then actually went to Dan's moms to fix the leak under her house, handle Sprint issues that kept us on hold for an hour or more, pick up more primer, meet with daughter to hand over a DVD player for their trip, met an inlaw to look at a basement (Dan was asked for his professional opinion), return movies for our kids, it was one thing after another until we just returned to Gina's house. We found it very quiet. I miss hearing "Jamma"! "Jampa"!
They left this morning for Cheboygan. They will be camping for a week. We've promised them we would be moved out by the time they return next Wednesday. Wanta lay bets on what we get done and the condition of the house when we move in?! I've been wrong on all deadlines, so I'm not betting! I'm sure to lose.
Tomorrow our plan is to get up early (whatever that is) and go get ceiling paint, look at countertop options, again, and several other things I'm too tired to remember.
Today, we had an Empire Carpet representative stop by and show us samples.
We primed the master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen and dining rooms and ceilings.

So, tomorrow I'm hoping to get color on the walls, maybe some cabinets installed, drywall finished in the extra bedroom - maybe prime that room. We need to start on the bathroom so we have one to use next week! Will let you know what we accomplish tomorrow night.
