We went into Ionia to Res Life for church. After church we stopped by the house and checked on things....they were fine. We also picked up the van so Dan will have it this week. We left it at the house so we weren't driving two vehicles back and forth every day.
We then ran by Mindi and Seth's to get a bag of stuff for Daniel - we were meeting him later in the day and he asked if we'd pick up this stuff from Mindi she had saved for him.
While I was there, Jazmyn asked if she could go with me. I had actually talked to Dan about inviting her to spend some time with us this afternoon, so she rode with me back to Gina's. We met Dan there and went to Red Lobster for lunch. Jazmyn is a fun kid to have around. Conversation is never lacking with her, she keeps things interesting. We had a nice meal with her and headed back to Gina's. We played a game with her and Kayla called Funglish. She also played with Levi.
Daniel and Laina stopped by later in the evening. We sat and visited with them for awhile.
So, we are now winding down for the night and getting ready for another week.
I have to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. After checking the cabinet doors, I think I want to put one more coat of paint on them. Maybe I'll run over to the house after work on Monday and get one more coat on them. Then we can stack them up ready for installation and free up those two rooms. (I can't wait to see drywall on those walls!)
Dan has to go to Hastings for another phase of that side job he's been doing for three months! He'll be back to the house in the afternoon most likely.
I have been noticing a change in the leaves. Have you seen this? Leaves are changing colors already! It's kind of early, but the colors are sure pretty.
