Flowers Everywhere

What a magnificent Monday! Not sure why it was magnificent, probably because I was alive, breathing, able to work and was pain free, plus a myriad of other reasons too abundant to list.

Dan worked all day in Hastings. When I got out of work at 4:00 p.m. and called him, he was just leaving. We met up in Ionia (I first stopped by Gina's and changed clothes), grabbed a bite to eat and went to the house. He worked on a short wall - putting the studs up. It is in the kitchen where the refrigerator will go.
The wall was too short and the frig would have stuck out, so he extended it several inches.

While he did that, I put another coat on the cabinet doors. They all now have 3 coats. (not that you can tell that from these pictures!)

The drawers - but then you've already seen them, haven't you?

Every time I drive through Ionia I am amazed and delighted at the flowers they have planted along the streets. You can't believe how many there are. They are along streets, at corners....all over the place. And they aren't just sparsely thrown in. They are thick and full - quite beautiful. So, tonight sitting at the stoplight, I shot a few pictures to share with you.

Aren't they gorgeous? See, another reason it was a magnificent Monday!

Well, when we got back to the Boenings', here is what Levi looked like!

He got new underwear last week. I think big sister kinda helped locate it where you see it! (Just like a big sister, isn't it?)

I'm back to work tomorrow. Dan has his Tuesday breakfast then he heads out to the house to hopefully start hanging drywall in the kitchen. I CANNOT WAIT to see it go up, then cupboards be permanently located. WHOO HOO

The fun never ends ;-)
