Ok, I still can't post pictures for one more day.
We are still in Lowell and using dial-up, the computer times out before one picture can upload. Bear with me, tomorrow I'll try to make up for lost time and put lots of picture up.
Our plan is to get to the house early and put up as much drywall as possible. We have a couple guys coming to help get the 12 foot sheets upstairs. Dan didn't want to attempt it with me today, what's up with that? I'm very glad he didn't though. They are HEAVY!
Today we stopped at Menard's as we got into Ionia. We picked up a bunch of 2x4x12's, drywall mud, and drywall. Thankfully, Menard's has a forklift and it put all the drywall right up to the van doors and from there the guys helped Dan push it into the van. But, when we got to the house, there was no forklift. We were the forklift: we carried all of it in by hand. At first we split them apart. They come packaged two together. We split them and carried one at a time. Then Dan asked if I could do two together. We tried that and it wasn't too brutal so we carried the rest in that way.
We got the master bedroom closet all done. The master bathroom is done except where green board has to go in (shower area). Tomorrow, we put up the ceiling in the master bedroom and the walls. From there....who knows!?
Hank stopped by this afternoon and helped with everything.
Then Marie decided to grace us with her presence with the understanding that she was not going to get her fingers dirty or break a nail! I'll show you pictures of her helping tomorrow when I can upload pictures!
Gonna cut this short. We're going to make it an early bedtime and try to get up early.....get an early start.
