Hot, Hot and Hotter!

Today the temperature hit 94 degrees and the heat index was 103 degrees. Humidity felt like 99 percent!

I got home from work, changed clothes and went to meet my friend Marie. We planned to go over my two family reunion activities and do some brain storming. No one was home when I got here, so I made a few calls and left.

Marie and I met at Olga's in the mall (so I could go shopping afterwards).
We had dinner and decided on some good ideas for activities for the reunion at the end of July.

After a little bit of shopping I returned to Dave and Gina's. Dan was already at the computer and had just opened the bloggging site. He typed the blog for tonight - so enjoy!

NO pictures today either. I asked Dan on the phone earlier tonight if he got pictures. He said, "No." So to make sure I heard right, I asked, "None?"
His reply, "No, I didn't even take one. It was too hot, and I didn't even think about it." So, because of the heat, and his endurance to work in spite of it (there is no air conditioning at the house) we're gonna overlook it and extend mercy!

Here's his update on the day:

Today I did electrical wiring in the stairway, living room, and family room. Hank removed all the old electrical wiring in the basement. Brian Whitson stopped by and organized a plan to put the insulation in, in the next 2 days.

So, since he had no pictures, I'm throwing a couple in for fun.

Kayla drawing around Levi - wanted to make his chalk outline. Not sure what crime he committed, probably just being a little brother!

He doesn't seem to mind though.
(What that says above him is, "Actual Size"!)

I can't wait to be back at the worksite again tomorrow.
I promise to get lots of pictures.
