Plus some other flowers
Ok, enough of that. They are beautiful though, aren't they?
Today was installation of insulation day. Brian Whitson, about whom you have been hearing so much lately, and owner of Whitson Insulation, arrived around 9:00 a.m. with 30 bags of insulation and the machine to blow it all into the walls.
We're not sure what we did to deserve the president of the company coming out and helping us do the insulation, but we aren't questioning, we're just appreciating the time and work he's been doing.
Let me tell you too, the man does not let any grass grow under his feet. He doesn't stop. When he breaks for lunch, his food is gone and he's back to work before you can get two bites down! Other than lunch, he doesn't take breaks. He's a non-stop working machine!
He started in the landing area upstairs.
Then went to the guest room.
From there he proceeded to the master bedroom.
He really is in the picture, at the bottom left.
Also the master bath, main bathroom.....downstairs he did the dining room and stairway. I won't bore you with pictures that all look the same.
Dan kept the hopper full (too full at one point and choked the machine up!)
Soooo happy to be doing this job, he's clapping.
In actuality, he's trying to get the excess insulation off his arms and hands.
Coats your arms quite nicely!
We were sure to have supervision to keep it all going smoothly...
While Brian was doing the dining room a haze appeared in the family room (room adjacent to it). It blew through the ceiling, causing a bit of a dust cloud.
Then, as quickly as it was done (he was done by 3:00 this afternoon) he was loading up and gone.
Dan was so full of dust from feeding that hopper, he asked me to sweep him off....why not the hair too?!
After Brian left we worked a bit at cleaning up, sweeping, reorganizing (well, Hank reorganized).
I ran over to Mindi's to drop some stuff off and here is what I saw...
Little Rayna
Jazmyn doing a disappearing act or something....
Poor kid, look at those eyes. She is suffering from allergy issues, her eyes drove her crazy this afternoon.
Mindi and Nate
What a full day. Thanks again to Brian and Hank....you guys are awesome!
