.....He Rested From All His Work.....

Well, another weekend is over. It was a nice restful one for us.
As you have probably read, Saturday was an abbreviated work day. We worked til early afternoon then turned our attentions to other things.

A pic Kayla snapped this evening

We look kinda tired, don't we??!

Since we are staying in Grand Rapids temporarily, we have to decide where to go for church. Do we want to drive back into Ionia, or try our old church (we call it big Res), or we even talked about going to church with Gina and Dave. But Dan really wanted to drive back into Ionia. As he put it, it seems like home now. We weren't disappointed. The worship (music) was annointed. We started out with Grace Like Rain - I love that song. Especially the phrase that states - Halleluja, all my stains are washed away. Then our pastor (John Prominsky) finished the series he's been doing on Deception. He defined the things to look for to be sure we are hearing the true Gospel...all starting with M's (Messiah, Message, Mission, Motivation, Muscle)You can hear the whole thing on the church's website (www.rlcionia.com).

After church we stopped by the house so Dan could check the water pipes. Saturday just before he left he heard dripping. When he found it, he just shut the water off in the whole house. He wanted to check on that to make sure there wasn't more of a problem.

We then went back to Gina's, touched base with all of them, then headed over to Schuller Books to see Daniel. We figure he's a captive audience when he's working...he can't run away! The store was pretty busy though so we didn't bug him too long.
Dan purchased a book on how to run electrical wiring while we were there.

Tonight we also had small group. We were down in numbers, but had a great discussion. In that group we have been studying the book of Romans. We finished it tonight. We discussed what to do next. Any suggestions? You do know you can leave comments at the end of each blog, right? We'd love to hear feedback, suggestions, comments....you name it. We enjoy hearing you are reading this blog and following our progress!

We are excited for this week because new stuff is now going in. Monday starts the new plumbing going in. Then, when he gets that done, the electric will be strung. THEN, the part I've been so looking forward to - DRYWALL will start going in!

Here's to another great week!
