Mindi is still in the hospital...has a bacterial infection in her lungs, has low blood pressure, low potassium count, low biliruben....they have her on an antibiotic and are watching to see if she responds to it. If not, they will change it to a stronger one tomorrow. She may have contracted it at the hospital while working, if so, it is a stronger strain and will need a stronger antibiotic.
Here are a few pic's of what was done yesterday.
This was after I had taken out the two windows to make one opening in the "office" area.

A pic from inside the office before framing in the new window opening.

And finally an inside view of the new window, of course it has been sealed up to prevent it from raining in till the new window arrives.

Now for the progress for today, Hilma had to work and knowing how great I am with taking pictures Hank saved me on this one. If you notice, he snuck several shots of the progress as it happened.
First I removed the window that is in the old bathroom (to become the new 1/2 bath and laundry room)which was nothing more than a storm window, I'm sure that kept the weather out real well.
Exterior
Interior, and as you see this was before Hank showed up, because I didn't think about pic's until I was done.
Next we moved on to redoing the window for the family room/den area.
Hank did let me have the camera for a moment!
I, Hilma, just got back from visiting Mindi at Butterworth/Spectrum. She is still not able to breath well. She is hoping to be home tomorrow...we'll see.
Thankfully, Dan took over the blog tonight and did most of it. Tomorrow I'll be back behind the camera. I haven't been to the house since Saturday, so I'm anxious to get over there and see all the changes!
