Videotaping

Hey there!
Missed you yesterday, but there was just too much going on to slow down and blog.

We spent the day here - Dan worked off and on on the stairway. He hasn't been feeling too well, so took his time and rested frequently, but he did get the ceiling 'stomped' and the walls ready to paint.

Ok, look carefully, this is taken looking straight up the stairway. He has planks across the railings so he can reach the ceiling.

Here he has added plastic so it won't filter down the stairs and into the living area.

Here he is working on the ceiling - rolling on the drywall compound (diluted/thinned out)....

Then he uses this 'tool' to stomp the pattern randomly in that compound.

We were asked if we would be willing to have our 'testimony' videotaped at church, so today, after the third service, we sat and were taped telling our story in a very short period of time. We had 3-4 minutes. Well, you can imagine there will be some editing going on! Dan just went on and on...JK!

After we got done with that, we went home, ate lunch, and prepared for the Millers to arrive and drop off the three kids. We had offered to watch them so Mindi and Seth could get some shopping done.

We had fun playing hide and seek, Cooties, hide and seek with Pet Shop toys (Jaz and I take turns hiding them, then the other person has to find them), got the dress up clothes out and Jaz had a blast with those.

Here are a few pics of us:

So now, we are enjoying the....shhh....do you hear that? It's quiet.....

This is Christmas week.....we're almost ready for it.
We celebrate on Sunday with the kids, so they have Christmas Day with their in-laws.
We just talked about it today, we'll be alone for Christmas. We discussed what we would do. You know what Dan asked!?
"Do you want to work?"
Well, not so much! I think I'd like to take that day off!
