Dan brought a few people over after his breakfast to check out the progress on the house - Hank being one of them. You remember Hank.
I didn't have the camera ready...forgot to take pictures of them while they were here.
Mindi arrived at the same time. She brought Jazmyn over to spend the day.
She helped me do a few odd jobs, then spent awhile on the computer.
Dan painted the library window.
Put another coat of paint on the pillars.
We put another coat on the small window in the kitchen and hung that shade.
SUNDAY
After church, we came home, got comfy, waited for lunch to get done - Dan had put a roast in the oven with carrots and potatoes but the meat wasn't quite done when we got home. While we waited, I put up some more decorations...talked to Marie.
I had agreed to go over and help her sometime this weekend. Well, with the work here and having Jaz over, then having small group last night, I didn't have time to do it either Friday or Saturday. We agreed to do it this afternoon.
They weren't going to be done with their activities until 3 or after. So, I headed into town around 3:00. I was going to get a couple things for Dan for Christmas while I waited. That was a successful trip. He now has a few things under the tree.
Met Marie at her house and helped her set up a mock up for her Christmas Tea table.
She is doing it around the game Candy Land. Again, I should have taken pictures! Oh, SNAP!
I'll take some Wednesday night at the actual event and show you!
Gonna go get ready for the week.
Work Mon - Wed.
Dan wants to get the kitchen floor leveled (that will be 1/2 a day's work in and of itself) then lay that flooring. He also is going to get the stairway ready for me to paint by Thurs.
