Guess what we’re doing this weekend!? You guessed it, packing. We want to get as much of that done as possible because once we close and get the keys, we want to be able to spend all our time at the new place working.
We are going to start with the demolition and do all of it at once and up front. Get the big mess out of the way right off the bat!
Our plans took a twist Friday when we were laying out the big plan: scheduling what has to be done first. We realized it would be much faster to demo then do all the drywalling (that will be a dusty mess!) without all our furniture and other “stuff” in the way. Soooo, we are putting as much as we can squeeze into our already full storage unit. (Dan is a whiz at making a lot fit into a small space! He says it’s like playing Tetris. Now I know why I’m not good at packing…I’m not good at Tetris either!) Then, we are going to stay with our daughter and son in law for a few days. (He’s afraid it will be months, but not to worry Dave, we’ll be out of there before you know it!)
