The Fun Never Stops, I Mean the Work....

Since we didn't work at the new house today, it almost felt like we didn't work at all. ALMOST!

We hauled the majority of our stuff over to the storage unit. Load after load after load after load.
Why do we keep so much "stuff"?! I was telling the kids tonight that you have a keener sense of priorities and discretion when you move. You look at things and decide quite quickly whether you really need them or not.

Since we didn't get together yesterday, like we had planned (see yesterday's blog on why we didn't), we had dinner together tonight. We met at Mindi and Seth's, and Daniel and Laina joined us. (Daniel has a new "love interest" in his life now.)

Tomorrow, after Dan gets done with his early morning men's Bible Study/breakfast, he is going to run a couple errands. First he is getting a refrigerator and putting it in our storage unit in Caledonia. (We have two units. One in Caledonia that we put 1/2 our stuff in when we moved here. The other one is here in Ionia that we just got to put everything else in during the transition between vacating this house and getting the new one ready). He also has to take a bed over to Gina and Dave's for Kayla to sleep in while we take over her room. (We are staying with Dave and Gina until we have a livable space ready - at least a bedroom and bathroom!) Isn't Kayla generous to give us her room? She's an awesome kid!

First thing in the morning, I'm going to the Post Office and the Secretary of State to get our address changed and my license updated with the new address. Then it's back to moving. We want to get everything moved so we have Wednesday to clean and wrap up any loose ends at the old house. So those of you who have nothing to do tomorrow, come on over. We'll find something for you to do!
