Hunting Twice in One Day

I know, I skipped blogging yesterday.
By the time I got home from work, it was around 5:00pm. We decided to go to church which starts at 6:30. So, you can see where our time was spent....got home from church, had a bite to eat, it was late, we went to bed. Not a big story, but a truthful one.

Today, Dan got up and went hunting at O:dark:30.
I got up, read, did some writing (that was awesome - I can't wait til I can do more of it). When he got home, we worked on the floor in the entryway and he wired for another outlet there. We decided we needed one there during the Christmas season to hook up lights on the banister.

He got a call from Clyde, who lets him use his deer blind. That changed the course of the rest of the day. He decided to go hunting again this afternoon, so I got cleaned up and went into town to find him a shirt for the wedding.

Just before leaving one of the roofers stopped by to measure - he is going to give us a bid on doing the roof. I think I mentioned it before...during the heavy winds a couple weeks ago shingles blew off the roof right down to the wood. Insurance is covering the reroofing of the entire house. Dan's been getting bids from several roofers in the area. That was the third one we've had come and measure.

I went into town and found a couple shirts for Dan - he now has choices for the wedding. I also met Marie for dinner. We sat and talked for a couple hours. We are going to meet up again tomorrow - she asked if she could take me to lunch for my birthday. Hmmmmmm....that wasn't hard to decide!
We've been taking each other out to lunch on each others birthday for years and years. Almost since we met some 17-18 years ago. This year will be no different. We always let the birthday girl pick the restaurant. I think I'm going to choose Olive Garden, what do you think? Good choice, No?!

I'll let you know how it was tomorrow!
You can see not much work will be getting done, again!
