I'm Back - Part II

It was good to be back on here posting last night. It got so late, and the computer was so slow, I couldn't stay up any longer and keep downloading pictures.

So, to continue....

I do not want to gross you out, so be warned: the following picture or two is graphic, gross and ugly.
I broke my toe 2 weeks ago. Dan and I were moving some furniture around and were lifting an overstuffed chair over a table top that was resting against the wall. The chair leg caught the table and I thought I could steady it or stop it from falling with my right foot. Oh, boy, was I wrong! I neither steadied it, nor stopped it. Rather, it stopped rather abruptly when it hit the floor (with my big toe under it).

Still not sure if I'll lose the nail or not.


On to other things.....


The other thing we've been dealing with in the last two months has to do with Dan's mom.
She returned from a visit to California but was not able to go back home and care for herself. We found an assisted living facility not far from her home - she now resides there.
Ten days ago, Dan's two sisters came for an extended visit to see their mom and to start going through things so we could sell her home.

Here they are at the home trying a back brace, of sorts, on her.

It was very uncomfortable and only stayed on maybe 5 minutes!

Later in the week, Dan and I went over together to help clean out the storage shed. We came home with a van full of stuff. That same day, we got the Miller kids for the night (Min and Seth had a wedding)

After Gina returned, Kayla and I went shopping for awhile.

I think that brings us up to date.
Last night Daniel sent me a picture of Solen on my phone. I'm trying to locate it so I can include it, but it took me an hour to get it the first time. Don't think the odds are improving today - I still can't find it.
In my own defense, my phone has been malfunctioning frequently. We have insurance on it, all I need to do is take it in and exchange it. I just haven't taken the time to do that yet. Now that it is interfering with pictures of Solen - baby, it's gonna get done today!! ;-)
