If we haven't done much around the house, I feel like there isn't much to share so I don't bother to post.
Yesterday, we spent the day at the house doing several things. I wanted to sew, so Dan worked upstairs in the extra bedroom. He put the pink insulation on the walls.
Here are some pics of that process.
We also moved some furniture around in the front room. The piano was taking up a lot of room and the way it was arranged irritated both of us. We talked about how to do it, but then decided to get the piano out of the room and then move things around until we got it right. The piano is now in the entryway.
The rest of the room took us several 'moves' to get right. Here is how it has ended up.
It needs drapes/curtains now and some things on the wall, then it should be done.
Any grand ideas on drapes for that room? Send them my way! I'm open to any and all ideas and need some fresh perspective. If you can't respond on here, email me at: hilmaconklin@gmail.com

Today, we had arranged for Gina to do both our haircuts. We got there early so they could have the rest of the day to do their stuff. Here are a few pics of that visit.

Today is Jazmyn's birthday. Since Mindi had to work second shift, we picked Jaz up at school and brought her to our house for the evening and to stay the night.
Here she is taking phone call after phone call from different family members wishing her a happy birthday.
Dan made one of her favorite meals - tacos.
While he made them, she and I mixed up a cake mix and made cupcakes. Chocolate of course, with chocolate frosting!
Well, it's time to wind down the birthday....
